Who am I?
I'm not only a podcaster, but the executive producer of the Marketing Podcast Network. So I eat, sleep and breathe podcasts. (True crime is normally my guilty pleasure.) My podcast is Winfluence - The Influence Marketing Podcast where I help brands, agencies and even creators understand the difference in true influence versus influencer marketing. MPN is a wide range of marketing related podcasts all unified as a community of support with an ad network that fuels shared revenue among the hosts. I've written three books, the last of which is about influencer marketing. I know many people in the industry from brands to agencies to software vendors to creators. I'm an active practitioner in the space, co-host the Influencer Marketing Show in New York City each year and am frequently called upon by media to offer commentary on the industry.

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
Winfluence - The Influence Marketing Podcast is my effort to help the industry change the way it operates to be more strategic and creative with influencers and influence marketing. I believe we should do away with the "R" and call it "Influence Marketing" because that's the strategic goal in the effort. Focusing on the creator or influencer as a primary direction misses the point and leads to less than favorable outcomes over time. I want people to win with influence ... Winfluence. On the show, I interview the thought leaders and players in the space to mine their wisdom to see if it aligns with my philosophical approach and give the audience useful advice on how to be more influential with their efforts.
