How did the idea for the show come about?

A long time ago we had a show called Drunkards Call. It sucked. It was fun, but it wasn't great sounding and it was messy. Whiskey Hell Pod was our challenge to ourselves to reload and come at things from a fresh perspective. We wanted to talk to each other weekly and share what our discussions were with listeners. So you get a conversation between friends about world impacting subjects.

What do you hope listeners take from the show?

A voice. To think for yourselves and to come to a rationalization that there's much more going on than what the main stream media wants to tell you. We do a great deal of research to get to the information thats needed to have these conversations. It's not impossible, but we try to smooth things for our listners.

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

Probably juggling daily life and getting the show in. We're very consistent with over 100 shows under our belt. We record and release shows on Monday mornings.

Any future plans that you'd like to share?

We're going to be doing more to monitize the show in the coming months, we're hoping our listeners feel the value and can continue to support us. It's a second job for us.
