Podcaster Q&A
Tell us about yourself – what is your background?
A hardworking and devoted RB Leipzig fan from Adelaide, Australia who is constantly finding the time to write and produce the show weekly with extra episodes each week depending on the football fixture in his busy life between work and family. Justin also is up in the early hours of the morning to do podcast guest interviews for the show when guests are available and live-stream watch alongs of RB Leipzig games at least once a month.
Why did you get into podcasting?
To create a global hub for all RB Leipzig fans around the world to be able to get their voices heard and stay up to date with the latest RB Leipzig news as there was no English podcast or anything for global RB fans to be able to connect.
How did the idea for the show come about?
After the 4-1 loss in the DFB pokal final of season 2020/2021 I wanted to voice my issues with the club and then manager Julian Nagelsmann who had then been poached by Bundesliga bullies Bayern München.
What do you hope listeners take from the show?
A comprehensive and unbiased review of all RB Leipzig games across all competitions they compete in along with the ability for any fan to be able to get on the show in the RBL Talk segment and have fans from other teams come on the show to inform the listeners and viewers what they think of the most hated club in Germany and one of the most hated clubs in Europe. More information on the RBL Talk segment can be found at: https://rbltalk.net/segment
What's been the biggest challenge for you?
As the club had only been around for 13 years since the start of the podcast in 2022 global reach with such a small club has been the biggest challenge which has now been overcome as RBL Talk is known as the global podcast and the best place to go to for RB Leipzig news and for any fan of RB Leipzig to be able to get their voices heard on the weekly show.
How can your listeners support your show?
Just by listening listening and recommending the show is the best way. If you want to support financially you can make a custom small one-time or recurring tip starting from $1 via Ko-fi or become an RBL Talk Member over on Patreon to get exclusive content and benefits like ad-free and early episodes.
