Podcaster Q&A

Tell us about yourself โ€“ what is your background?

I am Ssengendo Joel Martin aka Gxcci Outta Here, a Ugandan podcaster and music publisher. I started my podcasting journey on 20th Feb, 2022 with my debut podcast being called the stony hill podcast where I reviewed over 50 music albums, I also hosted a podcast called Gxcciโ€™s Trap House and also hosted another podcast called Joel Martin Tales, all of them are still available on Good Pods. I hosted the music jukebox podcast since 9th Feb, 2024. And now The Life Of Gxcci Podcast

Why did you get into podcasting?

My love for music made me get into podcasting and on a global perspective I take listeners on a journey through diverse musical genres, highlighting the universal language of music and its profound impact on cultures around the world. But unlike my previous podcasts, basically the music jukebox podcast is generally based to crediting the people that have made Ugandan throughout different ages, this podcast is dedicated to Ugandan music lovers across the world.

How did the idea for the show come about?

I couldnโ€™t sing so I decided to credit music creatives.

What do you hope listeners take from the show?
