How did the idea for the show come about?

We went back and forth on the title and what exactly we were going to do as subject matter, but ultimately geek culture is what we are passionate about so there was no question on what we were going to do. The one thing that was important to us was that we wanted to be much more open to the subject material and not be trapped to a certain sub-genre of geek culture such as comic books, or movies.

What do you hope listeners take from the show?

The information we bring, the fun we have discussing the topics, and to bring together geeks of all types despite all the different types that may or may not exist out there.

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

Scheduling the recording sessions, marketing, and getting listeners to engage with us has been the biggest challenge. We truly believe that consistency in recording, posting regularly and putting the best content possible will naturally gain followers. We have a website, are on social media and we engage with those who reach out, but gaining support and more listeners has been a challenge.

How can your listeners support your show?

First and foremost going to our Spotify or Apple Podcast page and clicking follow, and giving us a positive rating. The more follows and ratings we get the better we appear to their platforms algorithms. We also have a merch store which people can purchase T-Shirts, Hoodies, Pins, & Stickers to help support us.

Any future plans that you'd like to share?

We plan on marketing our show more in 2024 as well as our merch store as we need to get our show funded to continue to do some of the things we are doing now. The tools we use have a cost and podcasting is quite the expensive hobby.
