Dr. Amy Street is the Deputy Director of the Women's Health Sciences Division of the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr Street's program of research focuses on the examination of sex and gender differences in traumatic stress exposure and stress-related disorders. Her work frequently examines military related stressors including military sexual harassment and assault and combat exposure.
Dr. Street services the Co-Director of WoVeN: The Women Veterans Network - a national peer support network designed to improve social support and quality of life by fostering connections among women veterans.
