Hello my beautiful people, now that we as a society are discussing and confronting anti-blackness in our society and cultures, we thought it would be an appropriate time for us to dissect and question this very issue. In "The African in You They Tried to Erase", we highlight the history of both Afro-Mexicans and Afro-Colombians and how in the world it took a pandemic, national wide protests and the Afro-Latinx movement for us to talk about the importance of black people in our cultures. Take a shot every time we sigh, yell, and stumble on our words in disbelief on what we found - we got really passionate! We also added a link in our linktree for all things Black Lives Matter, so go check that out!
