So you’re living in the apocalypse and trying to figure out how to get by? Well, the guys have finally mastered Zoom and are back to invade your earholes. What’s crazier, they’ve decided to use this technology to please your eyes, too. That’s right, we are officially posting video to YouTube. If it’s good enough for Colbert, it’s good enough for us! This week, the guys go down the massive rabbit hole of covering what they’ve been watching in quarantine. Honestly, you’d thing this list would be significantly longer, but hey, it’s something, right? Kevin kicks us off by talking about the techno thriller Devs on Hulu. He follows that up with the magnificence Schitt’s Creek. After starting off with great TV, he switches to video games and talks the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. He finishes that up with a very interesting review of NBC’s Manifest. Next up, Opie talks movies first with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He then goes against his usual grain and talks video games with Red Dead Redemption 2. He then finishes us off with TV and discusses Killing Eve, Homeland, Happy, and Little Fires Everywhere. For the record, that’s more than 5, right? Speaking of struggling with numbers, Pete goes next and talks about Apple TV+’s Beastie Boys documentary and Netflix’s Dead to Me. That’s right. We said 5. The “producer” gave us 2. Maybe Opie will loan him a few. Last but not least (that was Pete), we have Alex. He covers a couple of documentary type offerings in the Galaxy Quest documentary, Never Surrender, and the Netflix cut of the Dave Chapelle Mark Twain Prize. Next he jumps to TV and talks Scrubs and Peaky Blinders. After that he also goes to video games and discusses Elder Scrolls Online. He finally works us to completion with What We Do In The Shadows. As a group, the guys do what they intended to do months ago and talk about the Pixar film, Onward. The opinions are shockingly not what you’d expect them to be, so definitely pay attention to that part. After a quick break, the guys jump onto the current “One Has To Go” trend and choose between a few huge entertainment properties. They add a little special sauce to the end of that segment by flipping it on it’s head, so stay tuned to the end!
