Do you feel alone in your own head when it comes to navigating life’s big and small problems? Do you find self-care language a little too self-focused but know you still need to do the work? Join us on Reframeables and eavesdrop your way into some new perspectives — we promise you'll feel less alone as you listen. We are Nat and Bec, two very different sisters who come together each week to reframe some of life's big and small stuff. Nat's a PhD whose favourite phrase is “let’s reframe that!” Bec's an artist who tends more toward “why me?” Through candid, vulnerable yet entertaining conversations with each other, as well as guests, we find a way to meet in the middle each week and offer you, our listeners, new perspectives along the way. From a painful divorce that still needs processing, to grief that sticks around, to the simple day-to-day problems of managing a grumpy teenager, to a dynamic interview with Giller winner Ian Williams or radio personality and co-star of the Jann Arden podcast Caitlin Green sharing her vulnerable story of loss: Join our intimate conversations with authors, actors, activists, and voices from the crowd — those who inspire us to think differently about the world so we can reframe living in it.

For Our Special Kids is simply that...For Our Special Kids.
When you realize you have a magic child on your hands, you do everything you can for them. So...I started a podcast to honor and highlight the magic and the mess of raising a child with special needs.
What I have learned over the past 6 years is profound.
1. My child is WAY smarter than me.
2. She has opened me up to the incredible world of intuition, psychic abilities, mediumship, healing, telepathy, galactic travel, the angel realms, spirit guides, and a whole lot more.
3. If we can learn to let go of expectations, the universe will blow your mind.
4. I wouldn't want to spend another day of my existence without her in my life.
5. I am a better person because she chose me as her mom.
So...while I originally intended to focus on providing tools and therapies and amazing stuff for parents/caregivers with a child with special needs...this has really morphed into a podcast for parents that are curious about new and innovative ways to better connect with their child. How can you use CranioSacral Therapy to be a better parent? How might crystals help soothe the energy within your home? How can your child's birth chart help you become a better home schooling parent? What is the best way to maneuver an IEP while celebrating the differences your magic child brings to the school?
So, thanks for joining me...it's gonna be a fun ride and I promise we'll make mistakes along the way. But hell...that's parenting for ya!!!

We've all encountered people who are passionate about their views. Often, it seems they are just as passionately wrong. If we’re honest with ourselves, I think we’d all agree that sometimes we are among those passionately wrong people. How can we recognize when we’re wrong? And then what do we do? More importantly, how can a former Green Beret and a former S&P 500 General Counsel help? This is the Passionately Wrong Podcast, where we challenge your assumptions, offer different perspectives, and hopefully help you make better decisions. We'll discuss various topics from work, fitness, the military, and living overseas, but whatever we talk about, you can be sure that we will try and give a balanced view and not be passionately wrong.
