Members of the South Asian Community often go through similar experiences, but don’t discuss problems outside of family out of concern for ‘what the community will say’. Over time, this has led to taboo topics, isolation, oppression, and inequality. And enough is enough. Hosted by second generation British South Asian sisters Taj and Bal, the Changing Suits podcast helps members of the South Asian Community across generation, gender, and geography develop a common understanding and awareness of issues affecting the community, so that the community can thrive. The podcast also gives people outside of the community an opportunity to deepen their understanding of South Asian culture and values so they can help build services, companies, and a society that are better and more inclusive. Tune in each week for a closer look at modern South Asian life with a dose of tradition.

MigrAsians is a podcast about creative and political Asians and how their story of migration informs what they do and their path to healing. The Asian diaspora runs far and wide, as does Asian immigration history. All of this has birthed the model minority myth as well as a myriad of stereotypes that don't consider nuance or the vastness of this continent. Meet artists, activists, writers, advocates, and other creatives and politicos that are deeply affected by their path of immigration.

The primary focus of the channel is an investigation of homophobia through hate crimes murders and intimate partner violence which is underreported in the queer community. Our events are intimate and intellectual, quirky yet curated, and dedicated to social justice. We curate our events to juxtapose novelists and activists, poets and intellectuals, and bring together people who usually wouldn’t be in the same room. We’ve got it all: from avant-garde poetry to post-colonial politics, feminist comics to lyric verse, literary fiction to dispatches from the left. A sanctuary for the immigrant imagination, we believe Asian American stories deserve to be told. Learn more by visiting aaww.org Produced by the Asian American Writers' Workshop.

Welcome to Progressive Opinions of Color (POC), a podcast that creates space for people of color in conversations about economics, politics, and culture. Your host is Nancy Wu. Nancy is an Asian American woman, an economist, and a huge politics and policy nerd. Nancy triple majored in Economics, Government (Political Science) and Gender Studies at Dartmouth and has a Master’s in Development Economics from Oxford. She works as an Economist full time and has previously worked in economic policy at the White House (under Obama, of course) and progressive think tanks. The goal of this podcast is to engage the state of the economy, and other pressing topics in politics, economics, and culture, all through perspectives inclusive of the lived experiences of people of color. Whether you're new to politics or already a huge politics nerd, we hope this podcast inspires community and conversation among us. Join us in reimagining politics and economics with underrepresented voices.Contact Progressive Opinions of Color at: [email protected] or DM on Instagram @pocpodcast
