C-90 is a collection of songs whose melodies, chord sequences and, in some cases, arrangements, Dave Egan recorded onto cassette tapes, mainly C-90s, back in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s or, to put it another way, Circa - 1990. This was done either by way of bouncing from one cassette recorder to another or, later, using a four track recorder. On reflection, the original lyrics for these songs were no longer particularly relatable to Dave and so he rewrote them to create a juxtaposition of today’s lyrics on Circa '90’s music and a middle aged man’s words superimposed on a young man’s melodies.

Irish songwriter and producer Andy White’s third series of This podcast is only temporary tells the story of the writing and recording of his latest album 'Good Luck I Hope You Make It'.
As in the first two series, going track by track through solo album ‘This garden is only temporary’ and the 'AT' album co-written with Tim Finn, every week Andy looks at how a song's layers of lyrics and music work together, how sometimes ideas appear as if by magic – and if not, inspiration can always be encouraged.
Andy plays excerpts from the master tapes and discusses process and influences, recording, playing and writing in a home studio.
