This is Infertility is a bi-weekly podcast where we fuse narrative storytelling with experience and science to give you a new perspective on what it’s really like to go through a family building journey. Each episode dives into the emotional, physical, and financial burdens carried by those who experience infertility on their path to parenthood. Be it IVF, IUI, egg freezing, surrogacy, adoption, etc., the path is never the same and it can be long, painful, and lonely. It’s our mission to give those struggling a platform to be heard, a community connection, and an opportunity to raise awareness of the 1 in 8 who, for many reasons, struggle with infertility.

The BONUS BABIES podcast is the only one of its kind that features the compelling true-life hard-hitting stories of those with a lived foster care experience and the people who care for them––all via the unique 360* lens of a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer. Through raw first-hand accounts, BONUS BABIES reveals the daunting complexity of the foster care world while documenting the challenges, failures and successes of the system as well as the people and the agencies involved. The creator and host, Jayne Amelia Larson, is a CASA - a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer for youth in foster care. In the same way a CASA works, she explores all things in the foster care maze by talking to kids, parents, caregivers, attorneys, social workers, therapists, adoptees, adoptive parents, members of community and social programs...anybody and everybody who will speak to her to keep the conversation open and the information flowing about all things CASA––to give a forum to help people understand what it's like to have a lived foster care experience. Original music by Christina Apostolopoulos. Emma Karpman is our Social Media Manager. Audio engineering and mixing by Adam "Yukon" Harr of Blue Oak Mastering. Executive Producer is Jake Eberle. Cover art by John Crowther.

On March 30, 1952 four men were executed in Athens, Greece. They were accused of being communists and committing acts of espionage and treason. Three years later, the daughters of one of these men were put on a plane and sent to America. They were adopted by a wealthy Greek American couple in Massachusetts. Their adoption was the first of a long line of adoptions between Greece and the US that has been kept a secret for years. It is a story that takes us back to the Cold War years and to a relationship of dominance and submission between the US and Greece. But it’s also a personal story, about facing one’s past — decades after being forced to forget. Can a broken family come together again?

Have you ever felt called to create something bigger than yourself? Something that truly rocked your world, and changed the trajectory of your life? Did it hit you at the worst moment? Me too! I was walking the picket line with my husband pushing my special needs son in his wheelchair. We had just gone from dual income, 2 kids to NO income, 2 kids. We didn’t know how we were going to pay the bills, the mortgage or put food on the table. The future looked really bleak. As we were walking, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I realized that in addition to all this we were never going to be able to meet my older son’s lifelong needs! I knew then that I needed to make big changes and quick! To be able to create a legacy for our family, I was going to have to change everything I was doing, and everything I believed my life would be. It was terrifying! I’ve always been a take charge person. But what people didn’t see was the fear and doubt I found myself riddled with. They had no idea how worried I was that I’d never achieve the dream that was beginning to form; that I’d fail my son. Then I realized that like King Arthur and the Knights of the Round table, I didn’t have to have all the answers. I needed to create a community who could support me on my journey; people who were building amazing legacies, so their stories could inspire me to keep moving forward. I realized I could actually live into my own Legacy. We’re here to tell you that YOU can too! We are on a mission to help people like you and me live into a legacy they love. Join in as we share inspiring stories of ordinary people creating incredible legacies and learn from those who support us along the way. I am your host Michelle Slaney-Trovato and this is the Living Your Legacy Podcast.

Sharing stories and experiences of Australians who have been through Adoption and Foster Care. The stories are sometimes complex and tackle difficult issues which span over 50 plus years. From children that have been in an under resourced system to Australia's traumatic history of forced adoptions and the stolen generations. But through this darkness comes light - there are also stories of hope, courage resilience and love. My Unknown Truth is hosted by Nadia Levett, born and raised in Australia and is a child of Adoption. It is my wish that by sharing a range of experiences will lead to increased awareness and understanding around Foster Care and Adoption in Australia, facilitate informed discussion and encourage more people to share their story, open listeners hearts, minds and maybe homes to children in need.

The Mama’s Well podcast is a place to fill our often empty buckets... a place to connect with others, as we explore the “gifts and the gaps” of foster and adoptive parenting. Mama’s Well provides a safe forum to ask difficult questions, questions we may feel uncomfortable asking our agency or caseworkers. It’s a place to gather insight and wisdom from those who have “been there” as well as place to grab some quick, user friendly, parenting tips or just a little bit of comfort when you’re feeling weary.
