For years Doug Cochrane and Justin Strandlund have been good friends and frequent improv partners. They share a love of debating any topic, although their discussions usually come back around to two things: movies and space. Their most infamous debate involved a 2 hour discussion (while at work) about the actual possibility of time travel and it's potential ramifications on mankind; this included a full diagram drawn on a wall-sized whiteboard. Time well spent. MindGap is what happens when they sit together in front of a microphone and press record.

How does creativity benefit our lives as grown-ups?
I'm Claire, and I re-found my creativity after a time of almost crippling anxiety. Now I want to share the stories of other people who have found or re-found their creativity as adults, and hopefully inspire many more grown-ups to get creative.
I chat with my guests about their childhood experiences of creativity and the arts, how they came to the creative practices they now love, the barriers they had to overcome to start their creative re-awakening, and how what they do now benefits their whole lives.

What exactly is an interlude? For me, it's those magical, fleeting moments between tracks on a CD or LP record, where powerful harmonies transition you into the next chapter of music. This is where inspiration meets rhythm, and it's where I live as a DJ at heart. "The Interludes Podcast" is the extended play of those moments – a continuous stream of inspiration and up-tempo vibes. I, Val "The Voice" Johnson, serve as your guide through the voices of creatives, entrepreneurs, and filmmakers who are carving out exciting paths of discovery and exploration. In my podcast, we share intimate conversations with the trailblazers in music, performing arts, sports, and film. It's all about uncovering the pulse of the culture in entertainment and sports - and doing a little self-discovery along the way. I'm here to inspire you to find your own creative "interlude," to ignite that journey full of fun and awe that audiences are eager to experience. Every Wednesday, I offer you a glimpse into the evolving culture of the entertainment and sports, all while weaving in the music that connects us. It's an invitation to explore, learn, and be moved – with an original soundtrack that inspires.

After 23 years experience as the owner/ talent agent for the company Performers Management, it was time to branch out.

The podcast came as an inspiration during the Covid lockdown.

How do we connect when we are all isolated and disconnected from the Industry?

It started with volunteering for webinars and zoom calls connecting with actors and finding out what questions were needing answers during this time.

I realized there was a need to connect, chat and give advice about the business as well as share my experiences.

Inside the Agency was born.

It's a place, a podcast, for actors to tune in to get real information about the industry.

Inside the Agency is where you can hear from experts about the blunt truth about the business, what to expect and some hilarious stories.

We will have guests that share their insight, tips and their experiences.

Get ready to get a sneak peak of "Inside the Agency".

We recorded this podcast a few years ago, just as what they are calling The Great Recession had the country in it’s jaws and so many people were giving up on their life’s dreams. After decades of casting Films, Television, Commercials and Theatre we wanted to get this information out there.Recently, we listened to it again in our Post-Covid-Quarantine world and we thought that this information is as relevant now as it was back then. So we are re-releasing it every week.We recorded it in a room in our house, not a studio, so you’ll hear plenty of audio errors, and I even hit the microphone a couple of times. But rather than redo them all over again, we want to just get the information out there for anyone who can use it to keep their dream awake. So give it a listen. If it helps you, great! One of the many lessons we’ve learned from 2020 is that life is fragile and dreams are fragile. Anything that can help you live both more fully is valuable. Enjoy.Megan Foley
