Who am I?
This podcast is for those who love creative arts and performing genres. Around the globe, there are many successful and powerful creatives as we know but there is also a creative aspect within each and every one of us as human beings. Accessing and utilising our creativity leads us to express and contribute what we uniquely have to bring to society. This list will appeal to the seasoned professional, amateurs and those interested in creative processes and how an individual mind may navigate their own processes as a working creative. I have collaborated with artists all around the globe as a means to offer an international perspective and outlook on artists and creatives at work, a dive into their inner lives and working processes. I'm a podcast host, music educator and musician living out in Asia and I'm from the UK. I've had an absolute ball meeting artists, musicians and creatives from all corners of the globe. I've hosted a lot of creative events and I have had a lot of fun doing so. I trained at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge as a state registered Music Therapist many years back and also undertook Music and Education postgraduate degrees. I've worked internationally for the duration of twenty years and also run my own business and worked on short term contracts as a creative in the UK and abroad. I've worked with people from all over the globe and of all walks of life.
My Show
What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
This podcast serves to share informative and explorative resources for deeper conversations about creativity, intuition. I have chosen to share some resources which might be overlooked yet also present a more diverse perspective too. For instance, the Great women artists podcast, is one that gives informative perspectives. Black prose takes a dive into some of the successes and challenges that have occurred culturally within the workplace and how these are and have been addressed by influential creatives. working within the creative, literary and media fields. Eckhardt Tolle, brings an interesting perspective in terms of self awareness and the way in which we choose to respond to what is around us. The working songwriter takes a concise look at the inner life of a creative. Hence these are a diverse range of resources for exploration and reflection for those who appreciate the arts aand/or work professionaly within the arts sector.
What is my podcast playlist about?
To promote and open the deeper conversations about the arts and the creative and individual processes of up and coming and established artists, musicians, writers and creatives around the globe. There are many different ways to create art, many approaches and perspectives that are evolving, changing and developing. By choosing to explore and embrace it and the works of artists globally, it enables greater insight, awareness, connection and understanding that can impact up our own thinking and creative processes within our daily lives and within our own relationship with the arts as professionals, amateurs and hobbyists.
