Who am I?

Working at one of Australia's top Universities as an Associate Director of Enablement and Operations (code for fixing problems and bridging different areas of expertise) I am a human Dyson when it comes to content and pride myself on having my finger on the pulse... or multiple pulses (pulsi?). I am the host of the Big Con Podcast, where we look at businesses who forget to invest in strategy and pay the toll! As a self confessed "nerd" across a wide variety of topics this list is something that's constantly in my ear balls!

What is my podcast playlist about?

This list brings you an excellent selection of not just good pods but "Excellent Podcasts" that will give those with an interest in social media, the tech and media environments and how to take those interesting things to your day to day work. It's for you!

The podcasts I picked and why

1. The Big Con Podcast

Why this podcast?

Almost like listening to your own podcast, no one admits to it, but people are doing it. The Big Con Podcast, what started as a business idea has spun into an obsession with demystifying strategy. New listeners start with the Lego Episode or Volkswagen episode!

Welcome to The Big Con, the podcast where we dive into the wild world of business blunders and figure out where things went wrong (or right, but let's be real, mostly wrong) and use the benefit of hindsight and a healthy dose of schadenfreude to look at where there was an impact on either their profit, their brand, or something much more dire. Hosted by Emily Kay, a Harvard Extension Student and founder of the Big Consulting Agency, Dale, a business nerd with an obsession for many things, the Big Con examines the stories of businesses that refused to invest in strategy and where we can learn from their mistakes.

2. My First Million

Why this podcast?

Not just tech bro's but, Tech Bro's with heart. The way these two get straight to the interesting part of any interview or story is the best. Want new business ideas? These guys will have them. Plus it contrasts excellently with my next recommendation.
