The best podcasts about Body Liberration

Who am I?

Auntie Vice is a kink educator, writer, and podcaster. Their work focuses on how liberation of all bodies is linked (Black and Brown, Asain, fat, queer, trans, disabled folks). They run the award-winning sex blog LoveLettersToAUnicorn.com and multiple books about sexuality. They have a Ph.D. in Political Psychology and a BA i Psychology. My background is in how people form identities and how those identities intersect with politics. The personal is (and has always been) political. Provinding a platform for conversations with other folks working in the area of liberation for all of us is deeply personal for me.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

My show focuses on long-form conversations with people who have a deep understanding of how their experiences in the world are shaped by their body. It provides a space to be nuanced and go deeper into these conversations than most other platforms.

If you like The Moth, This American Life or Snap Judgment, take a walk on the wilder side with RISK! Your colorful host Kevin Allison (of the legendary comedy group The State) helms this surprisingly uncensored show where people tell jaw-dropping true stories they never thought they'd dare to share in public. RISK! is hilarious, heart-wrenching and remarkably real. Think you've heard it all? Fasten your seatbelt.

Writers, artivists, and creatives CHARLES TYSON, JR. and MARTHA MADRIGAL come to you each week with their unique brand of wit and humor as they discuss current headlines affecting the LGBTQ+ community, pop culture, and navigating life as a black queer man and a white trans femme, recently engaged.
After ten years of friendship and another twelve years as a couple, these former tavern owners invite you into their home at East Barbary Lane each week to visit with them, their ridiculously needy puppy, and their two eternally feuding cats. They might even add a surprise guest now and again.

Bawdy Storytelling – dubbed 'The Moth for pervs' by the LA Weekly – is the nation’s original sex and storytelling series. Founded, emcee’ed and curated by sexual folklorist Dixie De La Tour, Bawdy Storytelling features real people and rockstars sharing their bona fide sexual exploits. Bawdy Storytelling’s one-of-a-kind approach to sex-positive personal narrative has coaxed liberating tales out of everyday people, creating unforgettable experiences for performers and audiences alike. These stories aren't memorized. Storytellers aren't reading from cue cards. This is honest-to-badness story time with true sexcapades and poignant, hilarious, transformational tales at each and every show.
