This week, Syd and Jess are keeping the spooky vibes alive with the story of the real live monster, Peter Kürten, the "Vampire of Düsseldorf". Between 1899 and 1930, Peter terrorized Germany with a string of horrific slayings during which he would often consume the blood of his victims. The subject of Dr. Karl Berg's infamous 1938 book, The Sadist, this dude was one of the world's first diagnosed sexual psychopaths.
