This time Father Finn. Raanta was 4-1-0 with a 925 save percentage.
The warm-hearted vet earned points against Colorado, Washington, Pittsburgh & Tampa - amongst others. He also never passes up an opportunity to have a conversation.

El Niño has been in consideration for shovel of the month multiple times. In February he finally took home the shovel.
4 goals & 4 assists from the power forward put his name on the front of that iconic shovel. While Nino is one of the nicest and most thoughtful guys you'll ever meet off the ice, when he puts on skates the grit comes out.

The 13-year NHL veteran spent was well-traveled. Most notably 5 seasons with Hurricanes and being a key contributor to their 2009 playoff run.
The Finnish forward also made playoff runs in Dallas & Pittsburgh. Jussi was a fan favorite in every stop around the league and is a great wealth of hockey knowledge.

October Hurricanes Player of the Month, Martin Necas really dug in with what some are calling a coming out party for the 23-year old Czech.
Necas put up 5 goals, 8 assists and scored on nearly 20% of his shots.
Marty has always had the talent and been a long time friend of the show.
His October performance showed a snapshot of his potential with spirited forechecks and taking a much heavier load at the face-off dot.
