New study of registry data adds important data to the temporal trends of surgical risk in pediatric Crohn's. Pancreatic lesions with a greater growth rate have increased odds of exhibiting worrisome features. The learning curve for POEM is longer in managing complex cases and avoiding risks than the learning curve for achieving technical proficiency. No histologic benefit in modest alcohol use in NAFLD patients.
