CH (the host) is explaining the benefits of conducting a digital detox from technology. After researching this topic, she decided to unplug for a weekend. She did not use her cell phone, computer or other technological devices for 48 hours. She used the time to complete activities, such as connecting with friends, reading books and resting. CH discovered how to create daily balance by limiting her use of these devices going forward. Sometimes people are afraid to try this approach. They fear missing significant news or pop culture events during the detox period. Luckily with access to the Internet, you can catch up on things you miss.
