You all know how much I love my food shows, so when I happened upon this little gem, I had to watch.
I am hoping all you foodies enjoy it as much as I did. This week looks at the new Netflix Series: "The Chef Show," produced and presented by Jon Favreau and Roy Choi. I don't spoil the series, but I do discuss some of the highlights of it and I really encourage all of you who love food shows to watch it, as it is a new show on Netflix and I'd like them to get enough viewers to do another season or three.
If you're unfamiliar with the folks in the show, I've gathered together a few links so you can get familiar.

Well, Episode Six of Cawfee, Critiques & Cracked Pottery is in the can.

It is in my opinion a fantastic episode. I am so honored and delighted that Allyssa Luebke joined me for it.

Our title is Women and Comic Books. We take on a lot of stuff, some is general about comic books, but we delve into the differences between Women's Portrayals in comics, in women created content, women written content, why and how representation works and interrogate some issues regarding media in general.

I think those of you who enjoy comics will like this episode and those of you who just enjoy thoughtful discussion will also enjoy it.

I round it it out with a good ol'rant about history, who owns historical narratives and snowflake male academia...

I want to express my deepest apology to all of you who have been waiting for this next episode. Things got a bit crazy on my end and then editing this one has been something of a nightmare. But, at long last, my Game of Thrones season and series wrap up is finished!

I want to give a huge thank you to Summer who agreed to help me out with this one! She's a great lady, and I expect you all will be hearing more from her soon! This episode made it clear that when it comes to discussing books in the fantasy genre and their adaptations, she's the go to in my back pocket!

I'd also like to give my usual thanks to Mark Croft for his generous allowance in letting me use his music for my intro, outro and bumpers. If you enjoy them at all, I suggest you check out his website

But, without further adieu, here is Episode 5 of Cawfee, Critiques & Cracked Pottery, where Summer and I will do a post season, post series wrap up of Game of Thrones. We do get on a few tangents, but hopefully for both book readers and show only folks, it is amusing, thoughtful, and fair.

Episode 4 Show notes

Cawfee - I give a little run down on things to do over the next two weeks, with particular attention paid to Midwest Music Festival and Porcupine's set, as well as Dude Fresh in Holmen, and Yesterdays VIP Night this Friday.

Critiques - This week I discuss my love of what I call, Culinary Voyeurism. I am a food tv/media addict. I am not sorry about this. I give you a short list of the very best currently available in all your standard outlets - at least in my opinion. Your mileage may vary. If it does, please send me a tweet @ccrackedpots at Twitter, drop me a line on the Cawfee, Critiques & Cracked Pottery Facebook page or you can contact me via email at ccncpottery@gmail.com

Cracked Pottery - My rant begins at 1hr and 2 minutes. It probably isn't safe for work or for folks who get too riled up listening to pinko leftist garbage talk shit about their golden boy, Tronald Dump, otherwise known as the Cheeto and Chief. If you have small animals, children, Fox News Watchers with Pacemakers - it is probably best to leave this bit for your headphones... the Fword is used rather unreservedly. #sorrynotsorry
