We made it! Episode 100 so you know we had to do a classic. Proud to say we didn't fuck it up, except for the abysmal live commentary we tried to record but we won't talk about that. It's a great episode covering what is arguably patient zero for the rap movie movement.

Rest in power Rip Torn! The passing of a legend, paired with the fact that Canadian TV personality Tom Green is a real-deal rapper was enough reason to watch this monument to weird cinema. Freddy Got Fingered is the film Tom Green wrote and directed when he was at the height of his fame, and there is no way in hell this film could have been made at any other time. This episode is mainly just me and Anthony in awe of the film we just watched. We also talk about Canadian Rap, with a brief stop to explain the Hmong heritage.

Abe Beame (@TheFakeAbeBeame) came through to discuss The Carter, the 2008 documentary following Lil Wayne in the portentous months before his greatest success with The Carter III. Its a dark look at his incredible (and incredibly self destructive) creative process at a time when there was literally no one better on the mic.
