Jamie has the distinct honor of talking to Eric Peterson, the son of her favorite author, the late Eugene Peterson. Eugene wrote 35 books as well as The Message Bible. He was a scholar, linguist, theologian, professor, poet and a pastor. Eric shares memories of stumbling into his father’s prayer room one night and he reminisces about a car ride when he said something to inspire Eugene’s book, Run With The Horses. Eric also tells Jamie about the sacred gift his father gave him before he passed away and recounts Eugene’s final moments on earth.
