In this episode of 'Around the Rheum', host Daniel Ennis is joined by Dr. Mohammad Bardi and Dr. Jean-Paul Makhzhoum to discuss the importance of ultrasound in the diagnosis and management of large vessel vasculitis, advancements that have been made in recent years, and the best ways to successfully assess and apply what is learned from the ultrasound scans.
Bios:
Dr. Mohammad (Mo) Bardi is a Rheumatologist and USSONAR Fellow and Faculty, additionally trained in vascular ultrasound. He is a Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Jean-Paul Makhzhoum is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Montreal, specializing in vasculitis.
Dr. Daniel Ennis is a Rheumatologist and Vasculitis Specialist at the University of British Columbia.
