Mormon Podcasts

Mormon podcasts are a popular way for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) to explore their faith, deepen their knowledge of Mormonism, and connect with other members of their community. With the growing popularity of podcasts and digital media, many LDS individuals, organizations, and churches have created podcasts that offer a diverse range of content, from discussions on theology and scripture to personal stories and experiences. Mormonism, also known as the LDS Church, is a Christian denomination that was founded in the early 19th century by Joseph Smith in upstate New York. The LDS Church is characterized by its belief in modern-day revelation, the Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ, and the importance of families and community. Mormon podcasts offer a unique opportunity for individuals to engage with these beliefs, explore the history and teachings of the LDS Church, and connect with other members of the Mormon community.

Hi, my name is Russell Brunson, and I want to welcome you to the Book of Mormon challenge. Recently I spent a small fortune and purchased one of the original 5000 copies of the book of mormon that Joseph Smith originally printed.. I did it because I had been treating this sacred book lightly... and I wanted to make it special again to me and my family... As Ezra Taft Benson said... there is a power in the book which will begin to flow into your lives the moment you begin a serious study it. You will find greater power to resist temptation. You will find the power to avoid deception. You will find the power to stay on the strait and narrow path. When you begin to hunger and thirst after these words, you will find life in greater and greater abundance. Joseph Smith said that The book of mormon is the most correct book on the earth, and that a man would get nearer to God by abiding by it's precepts than by any other book... Join me it remembering this new covenant that we call the book of mormon. This podcast is my journey to let this book change my life... again. There is a town in England called East Grinstead. It is a quiet, unassuming town, with a beautiful church and a row of timber framed Tudor houses on the high street. It is everything you'd expect from a quaint, middle-class town. And yet, it is the town that didn't stare; the home of alternative religion in the UK. From the Scientologists to Opus Dei, druids to Mormons, East Grinstead has it all. But why?

Praise for The Town That Didn't Stare:

"Facinating... mysterious, it really hooks you in" – BBC

"Brilliantly arch" – Sunday Times

"Hilton is an engaging narrator, tip-toeing the lines between nostalgia, comedy and truth-telling" – The Big Issue

Celestial Sex, hosted by Chris Duce and produced by Colin Hatch, is an interview series about love and sex through the lens of Mormon upbringing. Our conversations dive into the confusing nature of growing up in Mormonism where sexuality is taught as something that's beautiful and sacred, but can only be explored after you're married- usually very quickly in between the temple sealing and the reception in the back of an '88 Mercury Tracer. Recorded in Los Angeles, we speak with post-mormons, ex-mormons, jacked-mormons, and active mormons alike about their parents' timid explanations of where babies come from, awkward bishop interviews that mostly focus on masturbation, first sexual experiences, current outlook on sex, and more.
