Do you like money? Are you a maker? The Makers Making Money podcast is for business-minded makers who want to make a living and life using their creativity. Every Sunday, I’ll provide tips and tricks for growing a side hustle or small business as a maker. We'll also chat with guests who will share valuable small business advice.
In a cold and wet corner of the world, three bearded descendants of viking heritage found a way of mending ancient battle wounds - turning their axes from each others heads to chisel out the rough contours of a podcast. Because, as the laws of nature dictate; when the paths of three bearded blokes with a common interest intersect, a podcast is started. And if the winds are favorable that podcast actually gets recorded and finds its way into the wild. This is such a podcast.
No.1 Crude Mistakes is a pod about making, what we have made and the forces that makes makers make. And some making as well.
Amongst other things we all play around on YouTube making build videos, so things related to that will surely be a recurring topic. As the hosts come from Norway, Sweden and England respectively, we leave it up to the audience to find any common thread other than the enjoyment of playing around in the workshop.
The podcast is hosted, recorded and edited by Glenn from No.1 Projects, K.J. from Crude But Efficient and Haavard from Behind the Mistakes.

Welcome to Talking Sock, a One Orange Sock production.
Hosted by Pete Davidson, this interview series shines a spotlight on some of Australia's greatest puppeteers, puppet builders and practitioners. We talk sock about the business of puppetry in Australia and are putting Australian puppetry power on the proverbial podcasting map! Hourly interviews from names including Richard Bradshaw, Sue Wallace (Sydney Puppet Theatre/ ImagineArta) and Philip Millar (Formally Creature Technologies/ Puppetvision) give us and YOU a chance to ask our industries best - "Why puppets and how'd you get there?"
We've curated this series to appeal to the performers, the producers, the builders and the curious general public. Episodes focus on all forms and styles of puppetry as well as its applications in art, design, theatre, education and the wider world. There is truly something for everyone here at Talking Sock Podcast.
