10 questions. 10 points. 10 minutes.

Hello, I’m Carol Vorderman and welcome to Perfect 10, the daily quiz that’s guaranteed to educate, entertain...and irritate!

Each weekday I’ll have ten questions that’ll really get your synapses firing and maybe get you groaning when I reveal the answers. Make sure you subscribe, follow and ‘like’ to get our episodes as soon as they drop, available through Acast on all major Podcast Channels and our Perfect 10 YouTube Channel.

So, why not join us Monday to Friday on your commute, coffee break or any spare time, I promise after just 10 minutes you’re going to feel sharper and smarter

There are 10 points available each day, that’s 50 in a week and our questions are as follows...

QUESTION 1

Is what we call our STARTER FOR A PERFECT 10, hopefully one to get you a point on the board straight away.

QUESTION 2

You’ll hear sounds that relate to a well-known phrase, item or maybe an individual, in this our HEARSAY round. All you have to do is tell us what it is. For example, if you hear the sound of a Captain speaking from the flight deck and then a Pig grunting, you’d get the answer ‘Pigs Might Fly’.

QUESTION 3

is CAROLATERAL THINKING, so pop your brain into the lateral position and think away!

QUESTION 4

is our MEMORY GAME. We play a clip designed to overload you with information, all you have to do is retain as much as possible and answer the question that follows.

QUESTIONS 5, 6 & 7

are all about the three F’s: FRIVOLOUS, FAMILIAR & FUN. They’re a mix of observation, common knowledge and everyday teasers.

QUESTION 8

is called ONE IN, ONE OUT, where I give you a word and ask you to either change or remove a letter/s to create a new one.

QUESTION 9

is one of those tips of the tongue teasers that’ll have you saying, I KNOW I KNOW THIS!

QUESTION 10

is our final question, giving you time to pause and think about our brain melting RIDDLE.

We hope you enjoy our Perfect 10!

Who am I? What does it mean to be human? Why does the world seem so screwed up and how do we fix it?
You’re invited to join me on my quest to find answers to these and life’s other great questions. Nothing to Lose but Yourself is more than just another self-help or motivational podcast, it’s an engaging and enlightening journey into us.
In some episodes, I will invite you to eavesdrop on the insightful and often irreverent conversations that I have with thought-leaders, fellow artists, entertainers, and friends from a diverse cross section of society about current events and the power of loving and embracing one’s authentic self. In other episodes, I’ll engage in direct conversation with you and reflect on the things I’ve learned and the challenges we face. And I’ll do all of this from my unique perspective as an African American male.
Equal parts spiritual, motivational, educational, and entertaining, Nothing to Lose but Yourself invites us to re-examine long held beliefs and inspires us to discover and love our authentic selves and each other. Together we’ll unearth the power of self-love, learn to live the lives we were created to live, and, in the process, we just may change the world. We owe it to ourselves to at least try, after all life is short and you have Nothing to Lose but Yourself.

Everyone has a story. Life can be crazy, and sometimes life hands you something that you never asked for or could never see coming. In the classroom called "life," we are under the false illusion that the formula of "2+2" would always yield the "correct" answer of "4." Sometimes it works out that way, but when it doesn’t, it’s a total bummerama.
We can't make any promises, nor do we have a magic wand that we can wave over you to make it all go away, but we can promise real stories of people who are struggling too. And, because neither of us know how to tell stories without having some fun at the same time, we're going to throw in a few laughs along the way.
So, if you feel isolated, discouraged, or embarrassed by a life circumstance, or, even none at all, hang out with us and hopefully you won't feel so alone. And if you're at all curious about how vomit, a blue man, a bar of soap and the number #25 in a toilet can possibly be topics of our conversation, we welcome you into our craziness.

Peace Out,
Sarah and Courtney

LifeSkills Radio is all about the wonderful world of Life Skills and education. We're going to talk about strategies for self-care because you're amazing and we don't want you to burn out. We're going to share stories about surviving those first few days, weeks, and months of teaching, which will hopefully make you laugh and think and not take yourself too seriously. We're going to touch on ways to build meaningful relationships with your staff, parents, and students because those relationships are the foundation of your teaching. We're going to talk about behavior, evidence-based practices, transition planning, and so much more. Along the way we'll have some really great guests for you and they'll share their experiences and their journey through this amazing world we all call life skills.
