Paulette Erato hosts La Vida Más Chévere de Childfree Latina, the only biweekly Spanglish podcast about creating and living your best life, from the childfree Latina perspective. That life starts with liberating ourselves from the toxic cultural brainwashing we've all grown up with in Latinidad. Like assuming everyone wants kids...or the woman should fix her partner a plate at dinner.
F that! End the generational trauma and design best life for YOU instead. Let's get rid of the toxic BS and make decisions and life choices that make us happy instead of merely another victim of The Patriarchy.
Formerly known as the Maker Muse Podcast.

Welcome to Broken Adults Speak Sense, where we will explore the profound impact of childhood trauma and the importance of breaking the cycle for future generations. Join me as I share my personal journey through childhood trauma and hear my daughters' stories, highlighting their struggles and resilience that come from these experiences.
In each episode, we discuss the realities of parenting and the necessity of thoughtful planning before having children. We believe that being child-free is a valid choice and that not everyone is meant to be a parent. Our conversations will delve into the importance of parents taking responsibility, including the power of apologies, to foster healthier relationships with their children.
We invite other broken adults to join us, sharing their stories through interviews or anonymously via email, creating a safe space for healing and understanding. You'll hear insightful interviews with therapists, authors, and organizations dedicated to preventing childhood trauma.
We’ll also tackle the negative effects of absent fathers, mothers, and grandparents, examining how these absences shape our lives and communities for the worse and how to solve these issues. Together, let’s shine a light on these important issues and work toward healing the next generation. So, join us in breaking the silence, hearing our stories, and creating a path toward healing and hope!

Season Two Coming Soon!
✴️ Do you ever wonder what childfree life REALLY looks and feels like? Sure there are the party days and good times of your 20s and 30s (which we both crushed btw) but what about when things start to "slow down" at 50? Is fun still a priority? Does the worry about the elder years increase or decrease? Does regret set in or fade into oblivion? Do friendships change? Is building community with new childfree friends possible?
We are a happy childfree couple living in Austin, TX who are here to answer all these questions and share our in-depth experience and expertise on Childfree Life. Our personal journeys towards the childfree life were very different. Veronica experienced 10+ years of doubt and confusion while Rick wasn't aware that his voice mattered. PLUS- we will be covering the topics that matter to all childfree people- health and wellness, relationships, investments, career, travel and a whole lot more!
KNOW THIS ➡️ We are committed to being honest and transparent with y'all as we share our past mistakes and what we are doing now (specifically) to live a fulfilled childfree life. We are also excited to introduce guests who can open the doors to even more joy and self exploration for us all.
Whether you are loving your childfree life or ruminating about the childfree choice- this podcast is for you! Think of us as your older(ish) & wiser(ish) childfree friends who are struttin' down the childfree path with you.
New episodes are released every other Thursday!

Welcome to our podcast, where the only thing hotter than our topics is our community of badass, childfree women over 40! If you're tired of feeling like you're the only one who hasn't settled down with a brood of screaming children, then you've come to the right place.
We'll be discussing everything from life and love to hot topics related to being over 40 and childfree. Need some advice on how to deal with your well-meaning friends who keep setting you up on disastrous blind dates? We've got you covered. Want to learn how to embrace your inner cougar and take on new adventures? We're all about it.
And the best part? You'll make new friends who won't judge you for still wearing crop tops and skinny jeans in your 40s (because who says we have to dress like a grandma just because we're childfree?). So join us for some wine, laughs, and a little bit of therapy as we navigate this crazy thing called life together. Who needs kids when you have a community like ours?
