Who am I?

I'm just a boomer trying to consistently boom. I love to observe and talk about all the craziness in our daily lives. Sometimes it's good to stop and see what we all have in common in life, at work and on the street. I've been around a few years. So the subject about what happens in our daily lives seemed to be a thing we talk ab out all the time. Whether it's with friends, at a bar or in a meeting, there's a lot we talk about...and we talk about it all in short episodes every week.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

My podcast is about "us" and our daily lives. What we deal with, experience and how we strive to not only survive but also have a good day.

What is my podcast playlist about?

I've been inspired by, learned from and have grown by the amazing minds, work and content of these amazing people.

Why this podcast?

An in-depth analysis of things that happen in our world...and somethings that may surprise you. While I don't always agree with Stephen Dubner, but he does make me think. And think about things I usually don't think about. How many podcasts can do that consistantly?

Akimbo is an ancient word, from the bend in the river or the bend in an archer's bow. It's become a symbol for strength, a posture of possibility, the idea that when we stand tall, arms bent, looking right at it, we can make a difference.

Akimbo's a podcast about our culture and about how we can change it. About seeing what's happening and choosing to do something.

The culture is real, but it can be changed. You can bend it.
