The best podcasts for women "of a certain age"

Who am I?
As a podcast host, author, speaker, and community builder, I'm devoted to helping women over 50 discover their full potential and reclaim their power. One way I'm doing that is hosting the "Fabulous Over 50" podcast, (formerly Hardy Mom) where we talk about the things that will help you level up in your career, relationships, and life. I’ve also been blogging since 2015; wrote the book, “The Sick Mom’s Guide” in 2017; and started the “Fabulous Over 50” Podcast in 2018. In 2022 I published three 5-year journals; founded the "Space Coast Area Podcasters," a local podcast meetup group that provides a supportive community for aspiring and established podcasters, with my incredible husband Dave; and founded Hardy House Media. This year, I started an amazing program for women over 50 called "Jen"s Friends." It's a daily video email to combat isolation and loneliness. Those things have reached epidemic levels and it's time for all of us to do our part. You can check it out at JenHardy.net. We also have 7 children, age 12-34. Yep! You read that right, and we've been homeschooling for 24 years. We live on a beautiful barrie island oasis, where the kids go to "surf school" during the summer, and we swim with dolphins and manatees year-round. I'm having the time of my life, and enjoy sharing it with as many women as I can! Did you know that a recent study in the 'Journal of Personality and Social Psychology' found that older individuals with more positive self-perceptions of aging, lived 7.5 years longer than those with less positive self-perceptions of aging? 7 1/2 years! That’s a long time to feel fabulous, and that is just what we are going to do! Isn't it about time we started embracing aging instead of fighting it every step of the way? After all, you know what the opposite of aging is... As a woman over 50, I've realized the challenges we face. My goal is to help alleviate, or at least lessen, them. Let's start celebrating those laugh lines, and stride fabulously into this amazing time of our lives!
My Show
What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
Are you a woman over 50 who’s ready to charge into the rest of your life and live it fabulously? Then you’ve come to the right place! On the Fabulous Over Fifty Podcast we encourage, inspire, and empower women to find their fabulousness, because no matter where you live or how much money you have, fabulous is a state of mind! It's time to stop doing things like airbrushing people to make 80-year-olds look 18 - and our obsession with being size 4, and just be ourselves. It's time to live fabulously - whatever that means to each of us. The show takes on the tough issues too; like ageism, dealing with menopause, and putting the ‘care’ back into healthcare. You know what I'm talking about! Tune in, buckle up, and hold on, because you’re in for a heck of a ride! This podcast fits right into this playlist because it embodies all things that come with this remarkable time in our lives.
What is my podcast playlist about?
My playlist is about the topics that affect us as we age. Some of them are tough topics, some are fun, and some are just plain necessary. All of the hosts not only put on a great show, but are also good people. That's something that's important to me, and I know it is to you too.
