Who am I?
I'm Marge and I'm the host of Bite Me The Show About Edibles, a show that helps cooks make great edibles at home. It's probably no surprise that I love cooking, edibles and podcasts so I created a show that married the three! When I'm not in the kitchen or sitting behind the mic, I can be found gardening, going for long walks while talking on the phone with my sister or listening to podcasts. I've had a lifelong relationship with cannabis starting with that first experience way, way back in high school. Over the years that relationship has changed, it's ebbed and flowed with the seasons of my life but I discovered edibles several years ago and they were like a warm hug. I'd found I would get easily paranoid when smoking cannabis but edibles were different! From there I dove into the craft of edibles while learning as much as I could about cannabis. I've taken cannabis cooking classes, spoken with world class experts and even travelled to Humbolt, California to earn my Certification as Ganjier cannabis sommelier. I've seen the good that can come from responsible use of the plant and how it can help to make the world a better place. Living in Canada helps too - we've been legal for almost 5 years now!

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
My podcast is specific to the category of cannabis mostly, though I have started branching out to interview people in the wider cannabis community through the Faces of Cannabis Interview Series. The podcasts in my list all have a unique perspective on aspects of cannabis that help broaden the conversation around cannabis and smashing the stigma!
What is my podcast playlist about?
It's about cannabis! If you're canna-curious or a seasoned veteran there's always more to learn about this plant whether it's consuming, history, cultivation, news, people, activism, medical use. Prohibition stunted the research but now that it's becoming legal in a growing number of places, we've realized there so much more to learn about this beneficial plant. I do wish I could have chosen more than five!
