Who am I?

I co-host the "I'm Not Yelling! I'm Dominican." podcast with my sister, Nachi. She and I are incredibly close and come from an equally close family. Considering what we have gone through in the last four years with the loss of our father, our family anchor, we felt we had a lot to share with others like us on various life topics. Furthermore, we wanted to create a podcast centered on real-life experiences to help others uplift their individual vibrations. I genuinely believe that this world could be better if we work on ourselves to elevate our frequencies. I can only control my actions and world, and I am passionate about living my best life. I'm an expert on me and my journey. Part of that journey is understanding that I am a spiritual being having a human experience. It is that experience that I share with my sister Nachi on the "I'm Not Yelling! I'm Dominican." podcast.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

I co-host the "I'm Not Yelling! I'm Dominican." podcast with my sister Nachi. The show is modeled after everyday conversations on meaningful areas of our lives. Our show topics cover overall well-being (e.g., emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental wellness), relationships, life stages, entrepreneurship, and self-improvement. We not only discuss these life events, but we also share our solutions (sometimes with the added voice of an expert guest). As typical Dominicans, we don't take ourselves too seriously and find humor even when discussing the heavy stuff. Our background of being raised in the Bronx by audacious Dominican parents is the backdrop of our lives. Growing up in two separate cultures (maybe three if you include NYC raised as its own nationality) sometimes caused conflict when adapting to American traditions. It is that friction that gives us our unique perspective on these topics. There's no shortage of distractions and turmoil in the world, and we firmly believe that we can live in a better world if we start with healing ourselves, thriving, and ultimately uplifting our frequencies. We focus on developing content to bring awareness of issues and potential solutions. There's a lot of noise out there, and we intend to help others tune in to our message and tune out the other stuff that is not serving them. We do this uniquely because we speak with authenticity, familiarity, and humor. So, the playlist is in perfect alignment with what our show represents.
