The best podcasts for Professional photographers and photography enthusiasts!

My name is Amy Lewis and I like to describe myself in 4-Ps : I’m a partner, a parent, a photographer and a podcaster. I became a photographer and entrepreneur later in life and I have found these podcasts to be invaluable!

I started my podcast, called the Pop Culture Retrospective Podcast in May of 2020 as a way or remembering my sister and our childhood growing up in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. She took her life in March of 2019 and life has not been the same since. This show has helped not only cope with my grief in a healthy way but also to connect with other people (listeners and hosts of shows) who love and appreciate these unique decades and their respective Pop culture. This playlist relates to my podcast because me and my sister grew up in the era of film and analog technology and so taking photos was a huge part of our childhood. I was previously an educator and part of the reason why I left that profession was because my responsibilities were helping students through their mental health challenges and I was concerned about being triggered due to the tragic loss of my sister. Photography became a passion of mine after losing her.
