Who am I?

I harbor a love of the outdoors and adventure alongside a deep fascination of mystery, murder, and survival. Travel and adventure are my passions and I enjoy podcasts that can bring these types of experiences into my every day life. I have always loved spending time in nature, whether that's been on hikes, swimming in the ocean, or traveling. Learning is also one of my favourite things to do and by listening to stories about accidents, maulings, murders, mishaps, and survival against all odds, I feel like I'm learning key safety tips for spending time in the great outdoors. Through stories of adventure and success in the wilderness or during outdoor pursuits, I feel transported to distant places and am able to share in the joy felt by the explorer.

What is my podcast playlist about?

This playlist is centered around loving the outdoors and safe recreation in nature. Survival, brushes with death, animal attacks and adventure are just some of the stories found within the episode lists of these podcasts,

5. Get Out Alive: An Animal Attack Podcast

Why this podcast?

Because I just can't get enough animal attack or conservation stories. This podcast is hosted by a wildlife biologist and her good friend, who often asks the questions we're all thinking. For further education points, this podcast often has animal experts as guests to discuss their research and expertise on certain animals. Wildlife biologist and host Ashley Bray and her best friend/co-host Nick explore the causes of different animal attack stories throughout the ages every other week on Get Out Alive. They are occasionally joined by expert biologists and attack survivors to get more insight into why an attack happened, how it could have been avoided (if possible), and the problems certain species are facing that could drive conflicts.
