The best podcasts for Music Discovery

Who am I?

My name is Phillip Reese and I host Your Next Favorite Band. I started the show out of a love of finding great musician ms that are under the radar and wanting to share their music with people. Then I also found they all had incredible stories to tell. I can’t get enough of live music, and music discovery. I’m lucky to live in a town that has so much to offer and often free or very affordable shows. And then cities like Philly and NYC are reachable as well. So I like to share my thoughts and experiences on who is worth the time to look in to.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

My podcast is a weekly interview with a musician or band to have them share their story and their music in hopes they will be your next favorite. I personally love music discovery and coming across new artists that scratch that part of your brain that you just can't get to any other way.

What is my podcast playlist about?

These other pods I’ve included are ones I listen to for similar music discovery purposes and respect their opinion. And also enjoy their content and banter.

The podcasts I picked and why
