Who am I?
I'm a podcaster, teacher and a crisis hotline volunteer; in every aspect of my life I inject empathy and care for others and it fills me with purpose and joy. When I've given someone motivation and a reason to live or stay or fight, I feel I've fulfilled my purpose of leaving the world slightly better than when I came in it. I've always been inclined to having deep conversations and digging below the surface. As people around me shared their personal journeys, I realised the ability I had to connect with everyones story on some level and all those judgements I held when I didn't know enough, started to shed. I believe the world would be connected and filled with love and empathy if we all opened up about our stories, just a little. If we trust, just a little, we can help others through some of their hardest of times, and let them know that they are not alone in their story.
