The best podcasts for Folklore and storytelling

Who am I?

I'm a teacher, storyteller, and student of language and culture. I lived in Korea for 15 years and became a total folklore nerd. I read stories to my students and then to the public and finally on a podcast. Just completed 3 years of podcasting, and I hope to have many more. I started storytelling while doing my student teaching and I brought it along to teaching overseas. I've read hundreds of stories but still don't feel like an expert. But I am an enthusiastic fan of folklore and storytelling.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

My podcast focuses on storytelling from around the world. I especially focus on cultures that haven't had their stories heard outside of where they are from.

What is my podcast playlist about?

This playlist will get you familiarized with all the varieties of storytelling and folklore that I use to inspire my own podcast making.

The podcasts I picked and why
