Who am I?

I am a careers adviser and business owner who supports women who are unhappy at work. I also give careers advice to parents of teenagers and have worked previously as a schools careers adviser. I have a careers podcast called The Career Happiness Podcast. I am a careers podcaster myself and for me I love also learning from other careers podcasts. I have been in the careers field for 14 years now and have supported many clients and people with their career goals and ambitions. I wanted to create this list because I actively network with other podcasters and I think podcasts are a great way for people to educate themselves and develop their careers. Especially because we all lead busy lives and podcasts can be listened to around our lives.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

My Podcast The Career Happiness Podcast gives practical careers advice about job hunting, happiness at work. career progression, job loss etc. When it first started out in 2019 it was a podcast for professional women who needed careers advice. The episodes have evolved since 2020 and are also for parents of teenagers who want careers advice and tips to help support them. I also record episodes for business owners to help them with their business development. The reason it fits this theme and list is because it's about supporting others with career development and careers advice both things highlighted by The Career Happiness Podcast too.

What is my podcast playlist about?

I wanted to create a list of careers advice podcasts to represent different struggles people may have in their careers right now. From helping career changers to talking about their careers to job hunting and understanding what themes there are at work that we need to be aware of. The list here is not just about careers advice but career developmental and building on your skills for your future. The list has five different podcasts which have a diverse array of how you to do develop your career and find work you love. As well as learn tips about how to enhance your career. These podcasts are the following: Big Careers Small Children - Is a great podcast to help you learn from parents who have interesting careers and they do this whilst being a parent.
