Who am I?

An independent author and a co-creator of Ukraine Peace Talks YouTube show which brings together two Russian speaking persons with opposing views on the war in Ukraine. After spending four years at two universities in Moscow and Paris and getting a BA, I was done with studying. It was completely irrelevant to my life. But then, I have always missed an intellectual challenge, a thought-provoking argument. And this list fills this void… and I’m back to loving studies.

Since its launch in 1997, The Moth has presented thousands of true stories, told live and without notes, to standing-room-only crowds worldwide. Moth storytellers stand alone, under a spotlight, with only a microphone and a roomful of strangers. 3. Story of the Week with Joel Stein

Why this podcast?

A podcast where host Joel Stein picks a long magazine article that fascinates him and then calls his fellow, but greatly superior journalist friend who wrote it, and gets them to tell him all about it. He does the work and you get the stories.

On Story of the Week, “journalist” Joel Stein chooses an article that fascinates him, convinces the writer to tell him about it, and then interrupts a good conversation by talking about himself. Sometimes the story will be the one everyone is talking about, like the New Yorker article on smoking hallucinogenic toads. Other times we’ll find a story you might have missed, like the one in the Verge about the rock groupie turned hacker who had huge corporations at her mercy. These are stories you’ll tell your friends about. Stories that stick with you long after you forget whatever headline you just doom-scrolled through.
