Who am I?
My name is Carly Jean Puch and I host the Consciously Clueless podcast and work as a Conscious Living Coach. On the podcast and in my coaching I incorporates mindfulness, sustainability, and plants to help people change their personal lives so they can help change the world. I also teach yoga and currently teaches to both adults and kids grades 1st-8th grades. I works construction part-time and am excited to keep working on my school bus turned tiny home on wheels! I help folks who are ready to make changes to their life that support their health and the world around them, through supportive coaching, practical education, and steps that make you ENJOY the process. After making myself miserable to try and live a PERFECTLY conscious life I'm here to show you why there's another way, living a connected, healthy life AND enjoying yourself. Through my coaching and podcast, I hope to inspire others to make these changes. All these podcast episodes support that mission!
My Show
What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
Consciously Clueless teaches you how to live a healthier lifestyle that makes you and the planet happier. The whole premise of my show is to show people how to live a more connected life without the pressure of being perfect.
What is my podcast playlist about?
"To truly live a conscious, thoughtful life we must break free from the chains of societal expectation. We must switch off the autopilot and become aware, and not just of our career/money, but of everything. We must learn to become masters of life, to be conscious of every action that we perform — from taking a bite of food, to choosing our next vacation destination, to laying our heads on the pillow at night — everything." - LiveLoveSimple This playlist shows the varying ways we can accomplish this break from societal pressure to live a life that makes you AND the planet happier.

Episode 137: Carbon Offsets & Other Scams, with Jenise of Thuja
Clotheshorse with Amanda Lee McCarty
08/28/22 • 101 min
Jenise, co-founder of Thuja, joins Amanda to talk about why she is passionate about educating others about the scourge of greenwashing and ideas for ways we can make better decisions in our own day-to-day lives. We’ll also talk about some of our least favorite greenwashers and greenwashing techniques, like carbon offset and tree planting campaigns. Also: Amanda breaks down the role fashion media plays in not only promoting and perpetuating greenwashing claims, but also legitimizing them and turning them into “facts” by repeating them over and over again.
