Who am I?
I'm Dee, one of the hosts of Tea Over Interiors Podcast. I started this Podcast one day out of an inspired action. I have always wanted to start a Podcast but for years didn't know what about. Tea Over Interiors was born to be light hearted and inspirational. Allowing our listeners to think more critically when it comes to how they feel in their space and truly making it their own. We like to encourage our listeners to develop their home Over time based on their needs. True crime and horror is a genre I love but it can be so depressing so as a way to balance out the macob, I decided to go to a lighter side of myself. I love Tea as well and would listen to some of those podcasts after a horror to mellow out. I get so excited thinking of the possibilities of tea and interior design. I chose interior design as a subject because I am a trained interior designer with over 15 years of experience creating spaces that support my clients lifestyle and helps to reduce stress. I am big on wellness and creating a home you don't need to vacation from. I have worked with people that have allowed clutter to control their lives and people that don't know the first thing about how to create a home that is inviting and unique to their personality not a pinterset board. I teach people how to use inspiration to create a home that is timeless and satisfying. Alicja my co-host is a trained interior architect with over 20 years of experience. She helps empty nesters create a home that works for their new way of life and how to layer their home to add comfort and joy that eminates from the moment you walk through the door. Together we share our experiences, client stories and give practical advice on how to decorate with your senses. We are firm believers in the laws of the universe and always add a touch of spirituality to each episode.
What is my podcast playlist about?
My podcast Playlist is based on my other interests besides design. Many aspects of our lives informs how we live at home and make decisions on products. I like to get curious. I also was inspired by the formats of these podcasts.
1. Journey with Akia
Why this podcast?
I love to travel and wish I did it more. This podcast is inspiring because Akia has learned and grown so much as a result of her travels. Her courage to live abroad is inspiring and was one of the reasons I was inspired to start my podcast. Stop waiting for Friday is a call to stop wishing and do. I enjoy the constant reminder to live in ease and gratitude.

Journeying through life unapologetically and enjoying the pathless path! Freeing myself of conditioning, impositions, and confinements, one breath at a time!
Hiii friends! My name is Akia, born in Alabama, raised in Miami, Florida, currently traveling the world for the last 4 years! After packing my bags with a one way ticket out of America I continued to look for a sense of happiness and freedom. I found myself constantly questioning life and all of its complexities and simplicities.
So I became a student — formally and informally. Informally, traveling over 30 countries and being immersed in cultures and experiences that have deeply changed my life and formally along the journey discovering paths that lead me to hundreds of hours of study around the world rooted in healing and transformation.
Get in! We’re going on a journey called Life! Here is to failure, transformation, travel, love, healing, peace, and growth!

2. 99% Invisible
Why this podcast?
This show tells the history and the reason when design is important to the safety and well-being of the inhabitants. As an interior designer our job is to create functional spaces that are safe and ensure the well-being of the individuals in that space. I appreciate this show for shining the light on how important design is. Aesthetics are the by product of good functional design.

3. The Best One Yet
Why this podcast?
Jack and Nick help me to laugh and have fun learning about finance. Their short format show provides digestible information with a little bit of humor. They make my day after listening to crime junkie. It's my reminder that good still exists in the world and it's ok to have fun and be ok. Plus 2 best buds just like me and Alicja, so I was definitely inspired. I have been an avid listener for 2 years now. We were inspired by their short format show which is entertaining and informative and wanted to create the same. The, Dee's Randomness segment was born before I started listening to their show. They have a fun fact of the day sent in by listeners which is cool.
