Welcome lovely humans, to my podcast „Sex and Art“. I am an artist and sex therapist from Berlin, living in Linköping, Sweden. In this podcast I combine my passion for art and sex with my passion for very interesting people. Throughout my life, I met so many wise, crazy, lovely, exciting, and interesting people and I had tons of inspiring conversations. And I want to bring these conversations to you. I’ll talk with artists, dancers, comedians, musicians, programmers, managers, writers, bodyworkers as well as tantrics, healers, priests, or just someone I deeply fell in love with. In every episode, you'll be allowed a peek into their world and we find out how they connect to art and sex. For me these two notions - art and sex - describe life. Some episodes you will find to be more about sex, some will be more about art, and recently therapy plays a big role, too. If you want to support this podcast please share, like and subscribe. Welcome home. Everyday Paintings: A Video Paintcast™

Latest episode 18 years ago

I'm an artist. I paint mostly in oils. In early 2006 I took on a project I call Everyday Paintings, which was what I thought would be a daunting but doable goal of painting a new painting everyday, making them competent paintings, beautiful and hopefully valuable. Believing that something is only as valuable as what someone is willing to pay for it, I determined to test the market using solely eBay for sales, and along the way, building a list of contacts who are interested in my work. Since I do good work, and a day of good work ought to be worth at least $100, I start each auction with a minimum bid of $100. To be added to my FREE Everyday Paintings mailing list (you will receive a small picture via e-mail of each new painting I do, plus notification of any new PaintcastTM), please visit my Everyday Paintings site: http://www.everydaypaintings.com . There is a sign-up box on the right column. You can read all about me and my art background at http://www.DarrowArt.com (my larger, older website), and by reading my personal blog there. (Yes, I maintain more than one blog).

A maths teacher can be creative. So can a financial adviser, a community builder, and a yoga teacher. Not to mention a speed painter, a potter, or an actor! Creativity is everywhere and I love nothing more than to explore it in my podcast, either by focusing on a theme – such as perfectionism, feeding your creative brain, or the pressure to be creative – in my solo episodes, or through my conversations will all manner of creative people. With The Creativity for All Podcast, I am keen to challenge the perception of creativity and, in the process, debunk many myths attached to it: it's painful, for artists and the chosen few, etc. My guests and I are keen to zoom in and dissect the origin of an idea, the impulse that makes us engage with our own creativity, with the hope that it will inspire you to get creative too. My podcast is designed for anyone who’s already being creative, or is tempted to use their creativity, in particular those of you who think they are not creative or can never be. I would love to change your mind! So join me, every other Monday, as I explore and celebrate the many forms of day-to-day creativity. The Creativity for All Podcast is sponsored by Blue as an Orange, where we believe in creativity through communication, and offer mentoring and coaching for aspiring writers, and tailored language tuition for individuals and companies.
