There will be some interesting, maybe some controversial topics, with some topics just being downright difficult. When Nicolaus Copernicus discovered the Earth wasn’t the center of the Universe, everything changed. When Isaac Newton figured out the law of gravity from a falling apple, everything changed. When Benjamin Franklin harvested electricity from lightening and Thomas Edison made the first commercial light bulb, everything changed. Today, when quantum physicists realize our physical universe isn’t real, that it’s just a hologram, everything ... wait! Nothing’s changed - yet. "Butterflies Are Free To Fly" offers a new and radical approach to spiritual evolution based on the recent scientific experiments in quantum physics and brain research outlined in Part One. Given that the physical universe which looks and feels so real to us is actually a unique holographic projection from our own brain, the author examines various models for life and living that are very different than what we have been told and taught. “This is the only radical thinking that you need to do,” Dr. Amit Goswami is quoted as saying. “But it is so radical, it is so difficult, because our tendency is that the world is already ‘out there,’ independent of my experience. It is not. Quantum Physics has been so clear about it.” For example, in Part Two we are introduced to something the author calls an “Infinite I,” which is creating our unique holographic experiences. Then there is the “Human Game Model,” offering explanations all the way from why we experience pain and suffering to how we can change our reactions and responses by letting go of our judgments, beliefs, opinions, and fears. The end result, suggests the author, is peeling away all the layers of false identities that make up the “ego,” transforming and emerging from our cocoon as a “no-self.” Part Three of the book is a series of questions and answers to offer alternative explanations consistent with these models on subjects such as money, past lives, karma, trust, and the “Earth Environment.” This book will leave you thinking, because this book is truly radical. "I devoured your book. I appreciate your personal insights and sharing. Thanks again for a brilliant read." - Nancy, from California "Thank you so much for putting up such a wonderful book..I have no words to describe how I feel Now after I read the book." - Charles, from Nigeria "Thank you for your book. It is refreshing to see something that is both free and very accurate. I gained so much from the book. Your work explains for free so much truth in simplicity that I know to be correct. The quantum physics material is brilliant." - Andy, from Thailand "Appreciate your book in many many ways... Its a total masterpiece!" - Daniel, from Colorado "This has been an incredible read and I can't stop thinking about it. I'm definitely recommending it to others." - Jace, from Canada "Really enjoying your book , brilliantly put together." - Tink, from Amsterdam "I have read the book and I must say that I have never ever been so absorbed in a book. Your viewpoint is so fresh and logical. The way you have incorporated the quantum physics aspect is spellbinding. I am simply overwhelmed by your imagination and the ability to communicate so clearly." - Harmeet, from Belgium "Best book I have!" - Kenneth, from the USA "Loved the book." - Mike, from Oregon "An original and well designed book of the mind that offers the reader the path to understanding the true nature of our reality and therefore the real path to peace." - Gary, from Canada

Nathan Shattuck is a Christian counselor and spiritual director in metro Atlanta, GA with Soul Care Christian Counseling (www.careofsouls.net). Among other resources on his podcast (all used with personal permission of their author), his 5 'Impersonating Ourselves: The Truth About the False Self' talks address the essential psychological, relational and spiritual journey of uncovering the 'false self,' acknowledging and accepting the reality of our 'real self,' and seeking to ultimately live increasingly in our 'true self' - which is hidden with Jesus Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). Perhaps you catch glimpses of what it means to be 'impersonating yourself' - pretending quite well to be who you wish you were...at home, on the job, even with your spouse or your friends. What if you could arrive at the meaning of simply being who you really are, who God envision when He decided to create you? What would it do in your life and in the lives of those around you if you began to taste the freedom of living honestly and in the freedom for which Christ set you free? What if you could stop the exhausting life of pretending and posing as someone you think you want to be or that you think others want you to be? The road to that kind of freedom can feel scary to travel at times, but it's one we CANNOT afford to miss. These talks might just help you go further on that journey... Enjoy. -Nathan

Rechurched podcast is meant to inspire conscience and instigate conviction, so people may know God and show God. In a day and age where the Church has been commercialized, the Christian secularized, and the cross sanitized, it’s time to return to a biblical faith that knows our life is to be crucified. The Apostle Paul said, “For I have determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (I Corinthians 2:2). Rechurched builds upon the time-tested and true brick and mortar of the Bible by calling the nominal Christian back to their faith’s foundation. Too many people are just going to church but have never experienced the transforming power of being the Church. So join us as we not only start the conversation about the identity crisis, but we end the conversation where Christ is, period.

I want to encourage you today. Hope’s Harbor Gritty Bible Devotions is a podcast that deals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other topics from a Biblical perspective. The goal of this podcast is to bring about positive change in our lives through the practical application of Scripture. This episode gives a little background into the creation of this Bible-based devotional show. The lessons are drawn from Scripture. I'm not a pastor, rather a layperson sharing personal experiences from 40+ years of living the Christian life in all its difficulties. The intent is to encourage listeners to find hope within the Bible. The goal of studying helpful Bible truths is to help ease despair leading to depression. One such helpful truth is that God loves us equal to His Son, Jesus. His forgiveness once accepted and asked for, is complete. The challenge is living in light of this and other truths found throughout the Bible. Join me on this journey as we study how to replace toxic thinking with the truths of Scripture. Together, we can live out God’s plan for us and experience His hope for tomorrow. Will you consider listening and working together to make it happen? If so, you can subscribe to Hope’s Harbor Gritty Bible Devotions on Apple Podcasts or other well-known directories. This show isn't affiliated with any organization, religious or otherwise.

A Podcast about the Bible

Every two weeks, from two different countries, the two hosts of the Two Texts podcast pick two biblical texts to talk about. Each episode we pick one text to talk about, which invariably leads to us talking about two texts and often many more.

Dr John Andrews and Dr David Harvey share a mutual fascination with the Bible. Simple yet complex; ancient yet relevant; challenging yet comforting. But one thing that fascinates them consistently is that, like a kaleidoscope, no matter how many times they look at it there is something new, fresh and exciting to talk about.

This podcast is designed for you regardless of how much or how little you've read the Bible. Grab a hot beverage, a notepad (or app), and a Bible, sit back, listen, enjoy, and learn to also become fascinated (or grow your fascination) with this exciting, compelling and mysterious book.

John and David are two friends who love teaching the Bible and have both been privileged enough to be able to spend their careers doing this - in colleges, universities, churches, homes and coffee shops. The two of them have spent extended periods of time as teaching staff and leadership in seminary and church contexts. John has regularly taught at David's church, and there was even a point where John was David's boss!

Nowadays David is a Priest and Pastor in Calgary, Canada, and John teaches and consults for churches in the UK and around the world. They're both married with children (John 3, David 1) and in John's case even grandchildren. In their down time you'll find them cooking, reading, running or watching football (but the one thing they don't agree on is which team to support).

If you want to get in touch with either of them about something in the podcast you can reach out on [email protected] or by liking and following the Two Texts podcast on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. If you enjoy the podcast, we’d love it if you left a review or comment where you’re listening from – and if you really enjoyed it, why not share it with a friend?
