Throwing parties with Sleeping Giant in the 90s, DJing at spots from Cafe Brazil, Fashion Cafe to The House of Blues, and every club in between, this former Q93/FM98 personality was all about the Hip Hop scene in NOLA. But then a funny thing happened. While DJing a club in San Francisco, the Soul Doctor heard the synth from a Deep House Song and life hasn’t been the same since. Fast forward a decade and Soul has let the music take him across the globe, giving his infectious energy first to crowds in Southeast Asia for a year. Then the move to Europe & Africa and touring the world for several years keeping it DEEP from the Shores of Morocco, to the late nights in Barcelona has only inspired on thing. Bring this energy from the House Nation Home. So The Soul Doctor has returned to New Orleans, teamed up with Randall Smooth to help continue to build on an already growing House Scene. After 8 Top Ten Traxsource releases, working with cats like Demuir, Cee Ellassad, Demarkus Lewis, etc etc, Soul comes home with a unique purpose of finding that New Orleans groove within this Beautiful thing we call House Music.... With a new label (Maison Music) to help facilitate this dream, Tony is hard at work in the studio preparing new music as we speak.

I have conceived this podcast as a personal endeavour to bring interesting topics that I have encountered through my professional and academic life to the table. Each episode will take place as conversations with relevant guests who can shed light into the issues being discussed. The podcast will cover economic and political issues with major impact in the countries of the region. EU-Asia relations will feature prominently. I am currently working in Public Affairs in Brussels (Belgium). I have lived and worked in Shanghai (China) until October 2021 where I was working as a Working Group Coordinator for the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC). Before that (and until the summer of 2019), I worked and lived in Yangon (Myanmar) as an Advocacy Officer & Business Development Associate. Previously, I worked as a trainee in the European External Action Service (EEAS), in the Asia Pacific division. I have also lived in Taipei (Taiwan) and Tianjin (Mainland China) for two years, doing research and studying the Chinese with scholarships. I undertook a Master in Politics of China at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London. Back in Spain, I undertook two bachelors at the Autonomous University of Madrid, one in East Asian Studies and another one in History.
