Rootfire Presents: The Reggae Podclash's mission is to share the stories of foundational reggae artists, creating a historical record told by the artists themselves, while building bridges to new artists who have followed in their footsteps. Hosted by Devin Morrison and Roger Rivas, two longtime players in the Los Angeles reggae scene who have performed and recorded with Jamaican legends including Alton Ellis, Prince Buster, Leonard “The Ethiopian” Dillon, Wailing Souls, Roy Shirley, Pat Kelly, Prince Jazzbo, Willie Williams, The Cables, Derrick Morgan, Stranger Cole, The Maytones, Soul Syndicate, Ranking Joe, Half Pint and more. Devin is also Rootfire’s Editor and founding member of roots reggae group The Expanders, while Roger is musical director for early reggae revivalists The Aggrolites, and a prolific producer & engineer. As collectors of Jamaican vinyl, Devin and Roger begin each episode by highlighting a “Record of The Week” from their own collections, before a long-form conversation with a special guest. Basically, a series of conversations conducted by someone of Jamaican heritage/culture, born-and-raised in London (UK) community/culture and child of the nineties who's walking road wondering why. Convos I've always wanted to hear. The ultimate aim is a place to share stories that matter over stories that sell. History is written by victors. But what about the survivors? Anyway, not sure what else to say. The stories sell themselves. Stay locked. Temp email [email protected]

My name is Luis Lopez. I wanted to share to the world one of my life’s passions which is health & fitness. I use to weigh 265 Lbs. I now weigh 165 Lbs. I have lost 100 Lbs over the last 3 years. I changed my eating habits and started training 5 to 6 days a week. It was not an easy journey to change my old habits but it was a life style change I would do over 100 times. I also love to run and started training about a year ago to become an endurance athlete & marathon runner. I started off walking & jogging around the block and next thing you know I started running farther & farther nonstop. I have run several charity runs this year. I have completed this year a 5k, 15k, half marathon & in January 2010 my biggest challenge yet was the Disney Full Marathon which to me was life changing. I would like to share to the world my story & hope to inspire and motivate you to want to live a healthy lifestyle. Dedication, motivation & inner strength will help you accomplish & overcome any obstacle. So join my group to see my eating habits & to learn some fitness routines & follow me through my health & fitness goals. I will also follow you & see you ladies & gents set & accomplish your goals that will help you PRESERVE THE SEXY! I am still learning new things when it comes to routines & supplements and eating habits so feel free to share & teach me things as well because you can never stop learning in life. if you can also post your before & after pics. SO LET’S MOTIVATE THE WORLD TO PRESERVE THE SEXY! I hope our mixes motivate you in the gym to live a healthy lifestyle!
