Who am I?

I'm the producer and head writer of the My Amazing Woman audio drama podcast. I also am the host of a traditional interview podcast called Insight at Biologics. When I went on my tour of southern barbecue joints I listened to audio drama to help chew up the miles.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

My podcast is an audio drama with full episodes that are approximately a half-hour in length, perfect for chaining together in a drive.

What is my podcast playlist about?

Various audio fiction stories, many by friends. The shows occupy the thinking part of your brain, leaving the driving part free to, well, drive.

The podcasts I picked and why

1. My Amazing Woman

Why this podcast?

This is my podcast and while I am biased, I do believe it's a breezy enjoyable listen as you travel.

A young couple deals with adjustments to married life, not the least of which is that she is also a superhero with friends who are also superheroes. And we have secret agents and lawyers, too. This is a romantic superhero action comedy. If you like Bewitched or Batman, give us a try.

A coming-of-age, audio fiction comedy with a difference. Our ageing heroine shares senior moments, family relationships and adventures—entertaining and a wee bit provocative. In Seasons 6 to 9 some ancient Greek deities choose her to 'save the planet' - if she only knew what her superpower was. Written, performed and produced by Aussie-born, Liverpool-based actress, singer-songwriter and performance poet Flloyd Kennedy with guest performers on 3 continents.
★★★★★ "This is delightful storytelling from Flloyd Kennedy. Gentle but deceptively sharp; underestimate the characters populating this podcast at your own peril. The writing, performance and music are all a joy."
I use Buzzsprout and it makes hosting this podcast a smooth and enjoyable process.
