Who am I?
I’m a father, husband, teacher, and dog dad. I’ve been teaching for 8 yrs and haven’t “worked” a day since I’ve started. I’ve always been passionate about history, the paranormal, mysteries, legends, and myths. I love to learn, love to teach, and love finding those “a-ha” moments in my research. History and teaching have always been passions of mine, hence why I’m a History Teacher. The podcast platform has become an amazing way to teach and learn about histories forgotten stories and people. I’ve been teaching for 8 yrs, I’ve taught American History, AP Gov, Civics, Economics, and Sociology. I graduated with a BA in history from SUNY Old Westbury in 2013.
My Show
What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
My podcast is called “The Story of…”, we’re 5 guys who choose a topic, research it independently, meet back up, discuss what we’ve found and tell you the story of. We do not share any information we find in our research until we are actually recording our episode, which helps to create a genuine conversation between good friends. All of the hosts of the show have been friends or connected to each other for 25+ years which really helps with chemistry. We love to research strange history, weird tales, and odd occurrences and tell their stories, mainly to amuse ourselves but we’ve realized that other people actually like to listen to us as well.
What is my podcast playlist about?
The playlist is an ever growing list of other great history related podcasts, who’s show I listen to and who’s hosts I respect very much. They cover history, the paranormal, conspiracy theories, current events, and everything in between.
