It has been an incredible journey filled with countless opportunities to shape young minds and inspire the next generation. I currently reside in the vibrant city of Washington, DC, where I have planted my roots and built a home. Being in the nation's capital allows me to immerse myself in a rich tapestry of history and culture, providing endless avenues for learning and growth both inside and outside the classroom. As a single mom, my two amazing daughters are the center of my world. They are the driving force behind my unwavering commitment to education and the reason I strive to be the best version of myself every day. Balancing the demands of motherhood and a fulfilling career has taught me valuable lessons in resilience, adaptability, and the importance of self-care. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of molding young minds and watching my students blossom into confident individuals ready to tackle the world. I firmly believe that education has the power to transform lives and create positive change, and I am passionate about instilling a love for learning in each and every one of my students. In my classroom, I strive to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where students feel safe to express themselves, explore their interests, and take risks. Outside of my teaching endeavors, I enjoy immersing myself in literature and podcasts , discovering new hiking trails in the beautiful surrounding nature, and engaging in community outreach programs that aim to bridge the education gap.
