The best podcasts for Listeners who enjoy funny and thoughtful conversations

Who am I?

I’m Joe, the host of The Nerds with Accents. I’m a podcast creator and listener who loves conversations. The best of which are natural, not overproduced and meaningful. I want to share this list to boost some of the shows that do this best. I’m a professional at running my mouth so I have decades of experience in that field. (Lol) I think I have a good ear for good shows and I want to share this list to boost some of the shows that deserve it, imho.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

My podcast is all about merging the things I enjoy deeply: conversing and art. The show focuses on nerdery but it also touches on real life and what we can learn from the art we consume. Plus, we love humor so that’s a big part of the podcast. You can find us and all our links here: www.linktree.com/tnwa.

What is my podcast playlist about?

Dope podcasts with dope conversations. Whether you like jokes, deep themes or a mixture, this list will help you add quality to your current rotation of shows.

The podcasts I picked and why

1. The Black Guy Who Tips Podcast

Why this podcast?

TBGWT is a big inspiration for my podcast. They are simply the best: funny, thoughtful, and consistent. Rod and Karen are legends.

Comedian J-L Cauvin's podcast is a funny, thoughtful attack on the things you like. Bothering cancel culture whining bros and clapter progressives equally, he is a podcaster for people who like funny, but don't mind thinking and a comedian for people who like laughing.

Comedians Langston Kerman and David Gborie take a deep dive into the most exciting, groundbreaking and sometimes problematic Black conspiracy theories. They’ll have guests cover silly conspiracies, scary conspiracies and conspiracies they learned from that uncle who used to wear jeans when he went swimming in the public pool.
