The best podcasts for Immigrants Who Love Life and Learning

Who am I?

I am an immigrant, navy veteran living with disabilities, been a stay-at-home dad through a pandemic, volunteer, and the host of White Label American Podcast. Having lived and worked on three continents, there are a lot of people that I have encountered all of which have contributed to the podcast that I host today. Learning and having fun are big part of my life, followed by taking down artificial walls.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

This podcast began after my wife and friends had noticed taxi drivers and random people who I had just met for the first time opening up and sharing their life experiences with me. I got encouraged to create a platform to collect stories of mostly immigrants and use it to take down artificial walls while celebrating the humanity of immigrants.

What is my podcast playlist about?

The beauty and diversity in how we go about bringing different stories to light. There is something for everyone who appreciates learning, growing, and true equality for all.

The podcasts I picked and why

1. White Label American

Through open conversations with people from all walks of life, we will share personal stories about growing up in numerous countries, amongst different faiths, speaking multiple languages, and integrating into new and diverse cultures. Join me, your host, Beatriz Nour, as I navigate the delicate dynamics of growing up inbetweenish.
